Hi, I have just registered and browsed through the forum in search of the maker of a Steinbach piano I own.Top 5 best guitar rig 5 presets. Alex.Steinbach is an Australian brand name, well known and respected for over twenty-five years. In the early 1980s, Peter Edwards approached Samick and started importing and promoting their pianos. The name ‘Alex.Steinbach’ was created and a trademark developed. Thus began a time-honoured relationship with Samick, extending over twenty years. Most interesting detail is a serial number (10114) stamped on the soundboard and a shield with the latin text: Nihil sine Deo.

Filling out this serial number on http://www.pianos.co.uk/info/pianos/s/steinbach_c.php gives me a production date somewhere after 1925 for the STEINBACH PIANO MFG. CO. Turin, Italy. Could this be true or is this piano another Steinbach?Marc Savelsberg
There is a piano dealer who carries this unfamiliar brand 'Steinbach' and claims that it is a German brand which is 'made in Japan'. They also have a website under www.steinbachpianos.com and it says..

The Renner actions from Germany, and are made according to the Steinbach specifications.

Tapered and contoured solid spruce soundboard made of select spruce from the Val'di Fiemme in Italy. Its extraordinary durability is essential for the long-lasting tension of the sound board.
'Japan-made Natural Black Wood Keys'
The wood keys for a balanced and comfortable feel.
By looking at their pianos they look like another Chinese Stencil Brnad name or I could be wrong.
Can anyone verify and confirm that this brand is really made in Japan or assembled in Japan and have all these features as theri website proclaims??
