I have been playing Yuri for the past few months in skirmish mode. While playing I been making my own mod adjusts the game-play a little. You can find my mod here.

erm. hard to say:
soviet have good defence and attack,
Yuri is fun with capturing stuff and turning it back on the enemy (normally make a lot of money 'grinding'),
allies well.. they okay. The French have that super defence gun which is cool. The prism tank and prism tower help a lot too.
I havent done it yet but it would be fun to have the allies chronosphere with the soviets demo trucks

Yeah you're right Roguey I tried modding for Yuri's revenge before, I made all the soviet units more powerfull than ever, But now I'm playing another game.

eek, more powerful? did you give them all personalize mini-nukes?

I did that simply by using the rules.ini I didn't add any new units, if you faced someone using this mod then try to get rid of the rihno tank if you can.
So when I play I destroy all my rihno tanks to win the game a little later or something I also made the prices lower than before and some other things I did to the game as well!!

I still play Red Alert 2. My favorite nation is America. There paratroopers are a miracle sometimes, and can even destroy a base under the right circumstances. Plus SEALs, chrono legionnaire, rocketeer, and spies always destroy the soviet union on my PC.

Allied Infantry

Rifleman

Role: Basic infantry

Requires: Allied Barracks

Cost: 200

Secondary: Deployable heavy machinegun
The basic infantry of the Allied forces is the Rifleman. These soldiers are armed with a small submachine gun and heavier machine gun. While on the move, they utilize the smaller weapon, but can deploy, setting up their larger machine gun for farther range and greater damage.

Attack Dog

Role: Scout, infantry killer, infiltrator detection

Requires: Allied Barracks

Cost: 200
Specially-trained German Shepherds, Allied Attack Dogs are extremely effective against infantry, but are completely useless against vehicles and structures. Attack Dogs are the best defense from infiltrators and are frequently used to guard bases.

Engineer

Role: Building repair/steal, bomb disarm

Requires: Allied Barracks

Cost: 500
Although unarmed, the Engineer is a very useful unit. They can repair bridges, civilian buildings, and base buildings, capture enemy or civilian tech buildings, and even disarm timed explosives set by Crazy Ivans.

Guardian

Role: Anti-vehicle/aircraft

Requires: Allied Barracks, Radar

Cost: 450

Secondary: Deployable anti-aircraft rocket launcher

Guardians are the Allied anti-tank infantry units equipped with a portable rocket launcher. These missiles are small but powerful, designed specifically to damage tanks. Guardians also carry a lightweight barrier they can set up around themselves to prevent vehicles from driving over them. While deployed, Guardians are able to use their rocket launchers much more effectively with increased range, rate of fire, and the ability to target aircraft.

Spy

Role: Infiltrator

Requires: Allied Barracks, Allied Tech2

Cost: 1000

Special: Disguises
The Allies were the first to use spies in the war, and they haven’t given up the practice. Spies can disguise themselves as any enemy infantry unit and stealthily infiltrate their bases to cause sabotage or steal technology. Disguised spies need only fear a few units capable of seeing through their deception, mainly dogs and Sentinels.

Raider

Role: Anti-infantry

Requires: Allied Barracks, Allied Tech2

Cost: 1000

Secondary: Grenade launcher
Allied Raiders are specially trained units armed with a machine gun and grenade launcher. They are equipped to swim through water and can execute groups of infantry single-handedly with their precision accuracy and firearm skill. When up against vehicles or buildings, they can fire small grenades to cause moderate damage, however, they are not effective at these tasks unless in larger squads.

Rocketeer

Role: Airpower

Requires: Allied Barracks, Radar, Allied Tech2

Cost: 600

Movement: Airborne
The Rocketeer is an aerial assault unit armed with a powerful weapon and strapped into an equally powerful jetpack. Rocketeers hover over the battlefield, providing anti-air defense and air-to-ground attacks on weaker targets.

Chrono Legionnaire

Role: Space-time displacer

Requires: Allied Barracks, Tech2, Allied Tech3

Cost: 1400

Movement: Teleporter
A Chrono Legionnaire never walks anywhere, teleporting everywhere instead with a personal chonosphere pack. Rather than destroy enemy units and structures, their weapon simply erases them out of time. While being erased, the enemy is not vulnerable to any other type of damage. If the Chrono Legionnaire stops erasing the target before it is gone, the partially erased object will reappear.

Tanya

Role: Commando

Requires: Allied Barracks, Tech2, Allied Tech3

Cost: 1500

Limit: 1

Movement: Amphibious
Tanya is the best infantry unit the Allied forces have available. She is very versatile, able to run across land and swim through water, resists mind control, and can’t be driven over by most vehicles. She can quickly take down infantry with her dual pistols and packs C4 charges to eliminate any building, vehicle, or even ships at sea in an instant.
